Lead guitarist wanted for a 90s alt rock band. Vocals not required, but would be a plus, as we all try to contribute. We rehearse only once per month, but we may add a 2nd monthly rehearsal as well. Currently working up a 45 minute set list and would eventually like to start playing out a bit, but no major time commitments at this point. However, I do want to emphasize: this is totally just for fun! Even if you already have a band, this could potentially be a fun side project for you as well since the time commitment is minimal .

We are looking for someone who likes this genre: 90s alternative rock, primarily with female fronted bands. Ideally looking for a team player that’s easy to work with and has good communication skills.

We are all a bit older, with ages from 40s to 60s, but any age is welcome. Rehearsal space we rent is huge, with doors that open directly to the driveway for easy access, and also features great A/C. Location is 2636 Walnut Hill, Dallas.

Here are some of the artists we are covering: Veruca Salt, Hole, Garbage, Tracy Bonham, Eve6, Weezer, RHCP, Dandy Warhols, Jennifer Trynin, The LAs, and Goo Goo Dolls. (however, song choices are completely democratic is long as its something the vocalist can handle)
